you wanna know what really irks me?

i absolutely hate it when people misuse the term "brb" (for the three of you who don't know, "brb" stands for "be right back"). i know people who will either say "brb" or put an away message up that says "brb" with no intent at all of being back any time soon. don't people understand that "be right back" means you'll only be gone for a short time? i have friends that will be gone for more than three hours under the false pretense of "brb". that annoys the hell out of me. when i tell someone that i'll "brb", i expect them to wait around for me; after all i won't be gone that long. in my humble opinion, people who regularly use "brb" when they intend to be gone for an extended period of time should be shot.
